Rochester-based Flying Object (@flyingobjectisaband on IG) joined us in-studio at WAYO for a live session on Sunday 2/25/24 to kick off our new Live @ WAYO on-air concert series!
Flying Object consists of brothers Matt O'Brian (bass + vocals) and Chris O'Brian (drums + vocals) as well as Mike Martinez (guitar), and has been playing music around the Rochester area post-COVID. Live @ WAYO will seek to bring local and touring bands in to the WAYO Studios for live on-air performances on Sundays at 2pm, which will be live-streamed via the "WATCH" button on WAYOFM.org. Addiitionally, sessions will be recorded and put on YouTube and Mixcloud and linked to the Live @ WAYO page.
