WAYO's mission is to highlight local arts and culture by bringing new sounds and underrepresented voices to the Rochester airwaves.
As such, we have re-opened our show application form and are looking to add new shows for our Spring/Summer 2024 programming season! If you've ever had an idea for a radio show, now's your chance to make it happen! No prior experience is necessary, our team of volunteers will train you and equip you with everything you need to execute your show concept. All we need is YOU!

WAYO's 2024 fundraising campaign kicks off on Friday, October 27th, 2023! With nearly 90 shows on the schedule and 150 volunteer DJs and show hosts, WAYO enters its eighth year of operations, none of which would have been possible without the support of our listeners and donors.
