If you live in America, you are the descendant of immigrants—whether your ancestors walked over from Asia 15,000 years ago, arrived on the Mayflower or swam through shark infested waters eating their own shoe leather. Whether they dropped a vowel at—Ellis Island or lost their luggage at Chicago O’Hare —all of our ancestors here shared one thing in common- - they were all bat-@#%* crazy. How else could you explain Americans?
This turkey day, I’m giving thanks to all those people-past and present-who have helped me get to where I am today-standing on the precipice of a National holiday dedicated to fatty foods, family, flatulence, friends and football!
