The episode starts with a discussion of Tuchman and Levine's (1992) concept of "safe treyf", as well as other factors leading to the embracing of Chinese food by Jewish folks living in NYC before moving into the interview with Jonny and then wrapping up with stories about dinners of Christmas past from Jonny.
