Live @ WAYO seeks to bring local Rochester and touring bands in to the WAYO studios for live, on-air performances and interviews with a rotating cast of WAYO DJ hosts. The performances are also recorded on video, available on the WAYO YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/@wayoradio.

The Fog ("Just the fog" on Facebook) joined us in-studio at WAYO for a live session on Sunday 3/17/24 hosted by WAYO's own Dave Ziebarth (host of Jump Blues, Tuesdays 8-10pm).
The Fog is a Rochester-based Americana band featuring Dollar Bill Blind on drums, Sandy "Sandbox" Walker on bass, Dan Celso on vocals and guitar, and Tom Hanney on harmonica. You can find The Fog playing bars, restaurants, clubs, and festivals all around the Rochester area!
Jerry Big's World Famous Band (@worldfamousband on IG) joined us in-studio at WAYO for a live session on Sunday 3/3/24 hosted by WAYO's own Ian Downey (host of Maybe I'm Wrong, Tuesdays 5-6pm).
Rochester-based Flying Object (@flyingobjectisaband on IG) joined us in-studio at WAYO for a live session on Sunday 2/25/24 to kick off our Live @ WAYO on-air concert series!
Flying Object consists of brothers Matt O'Brian (bass + vocals) and Chris O'Brian (drums + vocals) as well as Mike Martinez (guitar), and has been playing music around the Rochester area post-COVID.
