Live @ WAYO seeks to bring local Rochester and touring bands in to the WAYO studios for live, on-air performances and interviews with a rotating cast of WAYO DJ hosts. The performances are also recorded on video, available on the WAYO YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/@wayoradio.

Still slamming out the tunes after all these years, Jerry Big’s continues to bring the big noise straight from the red brick bowels of RIT to the earballs of eager listeners all over Rochester. Their songs are jam packed with the collision of mayhem, catchy grooves and in your face phraseology that's endemic to the true punk sound. “Overhand” Sam Snyder is a Rochester legend with his eponymous guitar techniques. The Bad Weapon band is full of even more legends, with multiple fantastic projects including Alex Northrop’s Darlingtones (featured on a previous Live @ Wayo!!), Thunderbody and Sweepers to name just a few. Together, they dish out some premium psychedelic rock, don’t let their soulful sound distract you from the blistering licks and clever songs.

The Living Room features Eric Witkowski on guitar and vocals, Amber Tracy on vocals, Amber McAlister on saxophone and vocals, Pete Manktelow on guitar, Greg Wilcox on bass and khoomei, and Casey Lynn Learch on the drums.
