WAYO is excited to announce the return of WAYO Wednesdays at the Bug Jar. A somewhat repeating series where WAYO DJs take over the Bug Jar decks for a night of fun and interesting sounds.
Join us Wednesday, June 17th from 7pm to midnight at The Bug Jar, 219 Monroe Ave, for live DJs, WAYO merch for sale, hourly swag giveaways, and more! Admission is FREE and 21+.

What is the Fedder? The Fedder is home to dozens of artists and local vendors and the WAYO Studios! On Thursday, June 11th from 4-7pm, The Fedder is hosting an Artisan Open House where you can meet the makers, tour their studios, check out the outdoor murals, and get some WAYO swag! The event will take place at (you guessed it) The Fedder Building, 1237 E. Main St in Downtown Rochester, in both the first floor event space as well as in the artists' studios across the four floors + basement of the building.

The fair will feature TONS of local and regional vendors with LPs, 45s, CDs, the occasional videotape, and ephemera... But above all, there's something for everyone! From the dollar bin delights to the rarest of pressings, you'll find it on Sunday at the Rochester Record Fair!
It's that time of the year again... WAYO is seeking new shows for our Spring/Summer 2026 programming season! WAYO's mission is to highlight local arts and culture by bringing new sounds and underrepresented voices to the Rochester airwaves. If you've ever had an idea for a radio show, now's your chance to make it happen!

Join us this Sunday from 11am-3pm at Radio Social (20 Carlson Rd) for a holiday art + record fair hosted by Needle Drop Records + Flour Pail Kids! There will be more than 40 local artists and record vendors with their holiday (and non-holiday!) wares for sale, and Radio Social will have their normal brunch + drink menu available to munch on while you browse. WAYO will also be set up so you can snag WAYO merch to stock your stuffings -- er, stuff your stockings with! See you there!
Come on down to the WAYO Studio (https://wayofm.org/location) this Friday (11/7) from 5pm til midnight for our Fundraiser Finale Party and Open House! Meet your favorite WAYO DJs, take a tour of the studios, and enjoy complimentary food + refreshments from a number of our WAYO membership partner businesses (like Pizza Wizard, The Red Fern, Voula's, and more) while we watch the fundraiser total tick up towards our $25k goal.
Aaaaaand just like that, WAYO's annual fundraiser is here again! We've been broadcasting at 104.3FM for almost TEN years now thanks to your support, so we're asking for your help to raise $25k over the next two weeks to keep it going into 2026 and beyond.
WAYO is run entirely by 150+ volunteers and no paid staff, so you can be sure that your donations are going directly to repair equipment, expand capabilities, and all the things that keep all 90+ shows on the air each week.
We're super excited to be sponsoring this year's 2025 ImageOut LGBTQ+ Fall Film Festival! The festival kicks off on Thursday, October 9th and runs through Sunday, October 19th, and will feature more than 30 narrative, documentary, and short films that celebrate queer folx and their identities and stories. There's just over one week left to submit designs for our 2025-26 WAYO Art Contest! We are looking for artists to submit designs for this year's fundraiser T-shirt, hoodie, and bumper sticker.
