The Fog ("Just the fog" on Facebook) joined us in-studio at WAYO for a live session on Sunday 3/17/24 hosted by WAYO's own Dave Ziebarth (host of Jump Blues, Tuesdays 8-10pm). Apologies for the delay in the camera switchover, the in-studio view starts at about 1:45.

WAYO's mission is to highlight local arts and culture by bringing new sounds and underrepresented voices to the Rochester airwaves.
As such, we have re-opened our show application form and are looking to add new shows for our Spring/Summer 2024 programming season! If you've ever had an idea for a radio show, now's your chance to make it happen! No prior experience is necessary, our team of volunteers will train you and equip you with everything you need to execute your show concept. All we need is YOU!

Rochester-based Flying Object (@flyingobjectisaband on IG) joined us in-studio at WAYO for a live session on Sunday 2/25/24 to kick off our new Live @ WAYO on-air concert series!
We've been blown away by the support for our 2024 fundraising campaign thus far! Join us at the WAYO Studio at 1237 E. Main St, Rochester, NY 14609 (see wayofm.org/location for details) this Friday (November 10th) from 5pm until midnight for a WAYO Listener Party / Open House as make the final push to meet our $15,000 fundraiser goal.
WAYO's 2024 fundraising campaign kicks off on Friday, October 27th, 2023! With nearly 90 shows on the schedule and 150 volunteer DJs and show hosts, WAYO enters its eighth year of operations, none of which would have been possible without the support of our listeners and donors.
