Poet Jordi Alonso calls in to talk about his fascinating collection The Lover's Phrasebook, a set of poems on postcards designed to be shared with others. We talk about the connection between nature and love, the lost art of letter writing and more.

About Jordi Alonso:

Jordi Alonso graduated with an AB in English with an emphasis in Creative Writing from Kenyon College in the spring of 2014, where he studied poetry and literary translation. He currently is the Turner Fellow in Poetry at SUNY Stony Brook Southampton and has been published or has work forthcoming in "The Southampton Review", "Noble/Gas Qtrly", "Roanoke Review", "The Lyric", and other journals. His first book, a collection of erotic poems inspired by Sappho entitled "Honeyvoiced" was published by XOXOX Press in November of 2014. His chapbook, "The Lovers’ Phrasebook", was published by Red Flag Poetry Service in 2017
