A bridge is a structure built to span physical obstacles. Music was developed and built to span the physical boundaries of this mortal coil, as well as the meanderings of a migrant humanity. African music and its structure is a root stock of many other musics. Showcased here is an exhumation of Afro-centric music from the 60's, 70's, and 80's, as well as a presentation of contemporary rhythms and beats. Soulfully exemplified by artists such as Omar Khorshid, Orquestra Afro Brasileira, The Revolution Of St.Vincent, Amrals Trinidad Cavaliers Steel Orchestra, Ophelia, and more.
