(((Sound Affects))) was founded in 2019 by researcher, producer, and host Keven Adams and DJ and co-host Jim Kempkes. This weekly public humanities program explores the connections between music, history, art, science, society, and culture, bringing together eclectic music and thoughtful exploration of the stories, ideas, and cultural contexts behind the music.
