One of their favorite pastimes has been the demonization of “outsiders.” Hitler also liked to whine about the “Poisoning the blood" of the good people of his country. Trump didn’t originate that. And his rant about Latin American countries “opening up their prisons and sending criminals over here” -Trump got that idea from the opening credits of the 1983 Brian DePalma film, Scarface. Even the slogan “Make America Great again” was ripped from Ronald Reagan's 1980 campaign.
