Then its Kansas, Alice Cooper!, Marillion, Proto-Kaw, The Avett Brothers, George Harrison, Fairport Convention, new music from Sarah Jarosz, and The Bee Gees. Then we play our feature song by Yes, Close To The Edge, in its entirety. After that its music from RPWL, the Beatles, Incubus, The Who, Emerson Lake and Palmer, The Fixx, Kevin Gilbert, Fleetwood Mac, and we end with another Kansas song.
The not-screwing-around episode Part 2, as we cover many classic bands from the early 70s. Featured is Genesis' progressive rock classic, Supper's Ready, along with The Who, The Moody Blues, Rush, Graham Nash, Renaissance, Jethro Tull, Steppenwolf, PFM, The Beatles, Yes, Shawn Phillips and Emerson Lake and Palmer! Did I leave anyone out?
We feature members of the local band The Neighbor Hoods this week. Also its the Southern Rock Episode with classics from The Allman Brothers, Johnny Cash, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Molly Hatchett, Pure Prarie League, The Marshall Tucker Band, The Outlaws, CCR, and The Zac Brown Band.
It's good. You should listen.
Classic Rock dominates today's show opening with Elton John and The Who. We feature the 4 part Opus, Ambition, from City Boy, and then drift off to Mexico.
We get off to a strong start with classic prog from Genesis and Yes, throw in some Led Zeppelin, Crack the Sky, and some forgotten Paul Kantner with the Jefferson Starship. Then its most of Side 2 of Abbey Road. Also, Mingo Fishtrap, Bruce Hornsby, The James Gang, and many others sprinkled in along the way. Thanks for listening!
Great rock music and lots of laughs. More fun than riding a crocodile!
