Jaws was released on June 20, 1975. Jacques Cousteau was born and died in the month of June. In honor of these events, this episode takes you on a journey beneath the sea. Oddly enough, I did not hear about the missing Titan submersible until after my show.
My Special Guest DJ this week was my mom! She wins the award for most reluctant guest so I'm extra thankful that she indulged me. We talk about growing up in the U.P., sewing, sailing, gardening, and movies. And, of course, we play her favorite tunes - lots of hits from the 70s and 80s.
Strawberry moons and 5 Christines mixed in with some new releases and going out in a Silver Haze.

Mostly cover songs. With some birthday and deathday dedications, including pirate-themed tunes for Douglas Fairbanks and Captain Kidd.
This episode is based on the Siouxsie and the Banshees 1987 covers album, Through the Looking Glass. Hear all of the original songs that they covered on the album. Plus several songs that Bauhaus covered and a few extra originals to boot.
No theme. People were born and people died. And, as Clara said before she handed over the mic, John Brown did nothing wrong.
