About James Longenbach:
James Longenbach is an American critic and poet. His early critical work focused on modernist poetry, namely that of Ezra Pound, W.B. Yeats, and Wallace Stevens, but has come to include contemporary poetry as well. Longenbach has published five books of poems: Threshold, Fleet River, Draft of a Letter, The Iron Key, and most recently Earthling.

RIT's slam team Mental Graffiti stops by to talk about CUPSI, slam poetry, and more!
About Mental Graffiti:
Mental Graffiti is the student slam poetry and spoken word group at the Rochester Institute of Technology. The team holds monthly slam competitions and Open Mics on campus, and are involved with the forming of the RIT National Poetry Slam Team to compete at CUPSI. Each week during the school year MG hosts workshops on campus that are open to the public. Interpreters are provided for all events, including workshops.
