Needle Drop Records x Lux present a Record Fair Benefit for WAYO!

WAYO is excited to announce a special summer record fair hosted by Lux Lounge and Needle Drop Records. Proceeds from door donations, raffle, and more will help benefit your favorite local radio station, WAYO 104.3FM!
The Record Fair will feature local vendors selling vinyl, CDs, tapes, video, and other new and used merchandise. In addition, a bunch of your favorite WAYO DJs will be spinning records throughout the day while you dig for treasures in the stacks.

Turn Up for Community Radio!

TURN UP FOR COMMUNITY RADIO - literally! Help WAYO's voice go farther in our community! The FCC is considering a proposal called "Simple 250" which would allow low-power FM stations like WAYO to apply for a power increase up to 250 watts (from 100 watts).

This could be HUGE for WAYO and other low-power community stations in town (like our friends 100.9 WXIR and Poder971) and across the country!

WAYO wants your art!!!

It's that time of year again... We want your designs!!! The WAYO Fundraiser is just around the corner and we're looking for artists to create a t-shirt design and a bumper sticker design. The winning designs will each receive $100 CASHHHHHH (or Venmo, PayPal, whatever you like) PLUS the satisfaction of seeing your design on people's shirts and bumpers all across town!

In light of the recent allegations of sexual assault and harassment against an individual in the Rochester arts community, WAYO would like to take a moment to stand in solidarity with survivors and reiterate our commitment to fostering a safe and welcoming community for our DJs, guests, and listeners. We commend those who share their stories and will continue to support efforts towards their healing, safety, and recovery.

WAYO-Fourth Party!

You’re invited! It’s our monthly Wednesday shindig at The Bug Jar on January 22! This month is extra special cuz it’s WAYO’s FOURTH Birthday! We’ll have cake, pizza, and dancing to fantastic music from our mighty DJ’s!  Show your WAYO member card and get in FREE, but your slacker friends will have to pay $5 to get inside!  8 pm to LATE!
