We cannot thank you enough for your support and your belief that WAYO deserves to continue on the Rochester airwaves. Because of the generosity of our listeners and the hard work of our programmers and volunteers, we are ecstatic to announce that we have raised over $21,861, blowing away our $20,000 goal and ensuring the future of the station for the next year. These funds will allow us to pay our operating costs as well as maintain our studio equipment. We'll also be making a few upgrades to our production studio and expand our presence at events around the city.
All-Day Fundraiser Finale Party on Friday the 3rd!
To celebrate the final day of our fundraising campaign, WAYO is throwing an all-day listener party on Friday, November 3rd! Starting at 11 am and running to midnight, our doors will be open for behind the scenes tours, food and drink, and portraits with the WAYO boom box. And, of course, in person donations if you haven’t already donated at https://donate.wayofm.org! With a donation the size of the cost of a coup of coffee a month, you can make a huge impact on WAYO’s bottom line and get great perks.

WAYO has established itself as a source for inventive and engaging programming as well as an amplifier for arts & culture in Rochester. It is hard to remember a time when WAYO didn't exist. We need your support to make sure WAYO continues through 2018 and beyond!
We're Funded! Thank You! Final Total and Next Steps
Well, it's been a few days since the campaign ended and we here at WAYO are just now catching our breath. As you know, with your help we hit our funding goal and then some with a final tally of $17,702! That's an impressive amount that will keep WAYO operating for the remainder of 2017 AND give us the option of investing in some additional equipment this year. So, from all of us at the station, a resounding THANK YOU!!
75% Funded, Stretch Goals, and Anniversary Concert!
Wowee!! Thanks to your help, we are now 75% funded with just 6 days left in our campaign. If we can keep this pace up, we'll reach our $16,000 goal with time to spare and you will have ensured that WAYO will continue to broadcast throughout 2017.

WAYO embodies the spirit of low power - we’re a totally grassroots-funded station with 140 volunteers from the Rochester area, and we provide a platform for regional creativity where community members can share their art, music, writing, and more.
