I've got a 'thing' for off-beat pop, rock, soul, jazz, R&B, C&W, EZ listening, and all the sub-genres...primarily from the 1950's-80's.  I smoosh it all together and that's Magic Records.  If you don't like what you're hearing, wait 5 minutes.  Currently my show is scheduled on Wednesdays from 8pm-9pm.     It was my birthday yesterday, and rather than leave my loyal listeners without a net, we offer substitute disk jockey Caleb Paul of Vernacular Sounds. Caleb's music selection, although fascinating, compelling, and toe tapping inducing will include not a scant trace of 'magic'.

    He will also attempt to make mockery of my nervy New York Mets as they literally sweep his lowly Phillies, live on the radio!

    Nevertheless, I however highly endorse my substitute Caleb, as a reasonable alternative to my solid hour of radio power!
