Time

Did you know humans and animals perceive time differently? Many smaller creatures, including bees and flies view time in what we would consider slow motion. Cats and dogs also perceive time differently. Dogs, for instance take in visual information 25 per cent faster than humans, which makes time move more slowly for them. Humans also perceive time differently and the older we get the faster time flies. Since prehistory, humans have attempted to organize our world through the subjugation of time. It was on this day 101 years ago that the U.S. Congress established time zones and approved daylight saving time. Because there is so much great music-and 1 hour is not enough “time”-- we are dedicating 2 shows to this elusive topic.
