Magic Records 12 10 2025 WAYO - Cropper, Upchurch, Xmas, and Dave 'Baby' Cortez

I begin with tributes to both recently departed guitarists Steve Cropper and Phill Upchurch of Stax/Volt and Chess/Cadet respectively.  Two of the most important guitarists of 1960s Soul, R&B, Pop, and Blues recordings!  I add some Xmas magic also featuring Cropper/Upchuch, and Sun Ra!  A short live piece from the Bitchin Bajas, plus some blistering post punk, and Dave 'Baby' Cortez and his Whistling Organ.  This is my last live show for December.  I have subs and archive shows to cover the next three weeks.  I'll be back live in January.
