The Election Show!

Conservative politicians are not very creative. One of their favorite pastimes has been the demonization of “outsiders.” Hitler also liked to whine about the “Poisoning the blood" of the good people of his country. Trump didn’t originate that. And his rant about Latin American countries “opening up their prisons and sending criminals over here” -Trump got that idea from the opening credits of the 1983 Brian DePalma film, Scarface. Even the slogan “Make America Great again” was ripped from Ronald Reagan's 1980 campaign. Luckily for us, for every Insecure, self-serving, fear-mongering douche- we’ve had  artists like Neil Young, Public Enemy, Woody Guthrie, Ani Difranco, Gill Scott Heron, Harry Belafonte, Bob Dylan, Pete Seeger, the Clash and Bob Marley. This (((Sound Affects)))  first aired on Super Tuesday in early November of 2020- but not a lot has changed...This episode is dedicated to those artists who speak truth- and to anyone who exercises and defends the right to Vote!
