Names! (part 3)

Studies show that people are more likely to donate money to a hurricane disaster relief fund if they share their that name with that hurricane. When 8th grader Katrina Petrillo was asked why she was compelled to sell $1000 worth of lemonade for the 2005 hurricane Katrina relief fund, she explained, “I knew my name was going to be remembered as the biggest disaster ever.” Good thing her parents didn’t name her Corona…
