Jump Blues is an exploration of the wide-range of eras and styles which encompass the Blues genre, 100 years of American music. That includes Country Blues, Electric Blues, Zydeco, Boogie-Woogie, and Blues Rock, however the common thread will be uptempo tunes which you can dance to and might hear in a Juke Joint or roadhouse. Modern bluesmen, Guy Davis & Fabrizio Poggi (Harmonica) have a brand new CD coming out entitled "Sonny & Brownie's Last Train" on M.C. Records. The recording is meant to be a "Love letter" in tribute to the original duo. We'll have a few tunes from this new album and some of my favorite Sonny & Brownie songs! It's sure to be a foot-stomping good time and another great example of JumpBlues!
