ICYMI...Last night I did a radio thing...one of the last ones I will do for WAYO....

 

I begin and end with late period 'comeback era' Neil Sedaka RIP. In between we hear things like unreleased Wings, New music from the Lemon Twigs! A track from a fantastic new 4 disc box of live Art Pepper circa 1959 on Omnivore, Sun Ra! Cat Stevens (RIP Bud Cort) and so much more.

 

This was my next to the last episode of Magic Records on WAYO. I'm moving the whole shebang to WFMU Give The Drummer Internet Stream debuting on Sunday 9pm-11pm and eventually expanding to 12am on March 22nd. So next weeks show on March 11 will be the last Magic Records on WAYO. But please follow me to the new, improved, expanded, free formatted extravaganza in a few weeks.
