It's the Sound of Tomorrow's 400th show!!! And we didn't really have a way to do much with it. But just you wait till ep 415, Space Cadets! Talkin' dad bods (hottt), pandemic wardrobe (hotttt), and sunscreen (hottttt).
Talking Drag Race and The Void on this week's Sound of Tomorrow.
Rerun time, babies! We took a day off to go to the beach! Alone! I did this mix in June 2019 and it's so good, I can't even top it. So here it is again! Stay cool out there.
Track List:
Feel that tingle across your skull and down your spine? That's an all-new SoT. Also possibly lice.
Seriously: get yourself one of those little combs.
We're drinking water and talking to kids about discrimination in this week's all new Sound of Tomorrow! Also, Ross is super horny.
Look, times are tough and standards are falling all over the place. What tiny shreds of professionalism we ever had go out the window with this newest episode in which we shoot the breeze for an hour or so. Nevertheless, we manage some weighty conversation about coming out, pride (yay!), JK Rowling (ugh!). We hear the tale of the striped vest that taught Ross to stop worrying and make out with boys, and get the non-juicy answer to a very juicy question about Heather's sex life.
Don't worry! This isn't sexy talk (perish the thought--Ross's heart couldn't take it!), but we are talking about the intersections of sex and gender, with a bit of vaguely scientific discussion about what goes into gender and sex, and why TERFs are both morally and scientifically off the mark.
We realized that there's one thing missing from the conversations around Black Lives Matter: more white people. We're here to fill that void, stumbling and fumbling our way through a discussion about the the recent protests and the murders of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, David McAtee, and too many others.
Talking trees and risk assessment on this week's Sound of Tomorrow!
Charmin LeCloud and Coco Schell are back, gurls, and positively full of it! (It being, of course, quarantine fashion advice.) We're also finally (finally finally) getting to those Hot Picks we've been talking about for so long--books, TV shows, that one game on Heather's phone...everything you need to get you through these long days inside!
