Oh, Space Cadets..... We were going to get to so many topics in today's new show! But, as usual... we got to talking. And, as Lady Raptastic (how we miss her!) once said about us, we sure can talk. So today we're talking about the Pride flag and revisiting a point Ross made last week as restated by the one and only Lady Bunny. Part 2 is all catcalls all the time. Pull up a chair, saddle up an earbud, and have a listen! And, for the love of all that is holy, get a towel!

Space Cadets, HZ here and I'm so sorry.... The best part of this episode really took place before we even got into the studio. How Ross loves to hear outdated songs strummed upon a a untuned ukulele! As they say, music soothes the savage breast. But not so much that we're not back to our usual doom 'n' gloom this week! After a brief RuPaul Recap, it's right into talking about whether drag is harmful to the trans* community.
Space Cadets! What happened to Your Favorite Co-Host and The Babe With the Power? Why are they all full of good news? Don't worry..... it doesn't last. In this exciting episode of The Sound of Tomorrow, we're kicking it off with a tale of FB outlandishness but following up quickly with some GOOD NEWS! Midlife crisis? Not a thing, turns out. Act two kicks off with more GOOD NEWS! Happiness? Totally a thing and there are even ways to enhance it! But before we get too out of control with the good feelings, it's back to reality. Because, not that this is a surprise, but--sexism?
Allergies? A cold? Something else? Who knows and who cares because it's time for [drum roll] today's all new Sound of Tomorrow! You know we couldn't resist "covfefe" to kick it off but the surprise is the STELLAR performance review that starts the show! Then we're off to the races with a story of people on the internet behaving nicely (what???) and some horror-scopic horrors! Rounding out part one are a few adorable lists from Janelle Shane's awesome neural network. We're back with more robots and some good old fashioned cat 'n' dog science after the break!
Oh boy..... we're pretty punchy today..... I (Hi--HZ posting the ep here) totally had a fit of hysterical giggles during a meeting at work if that's any indication of how punchy I am.... Like, the giggles where you're really close to crying? Yeah. Good stuff. ANYHOW! In today's exciting Sound of Tomorrow, we start off with an not-so-great pupdate. We're all hoping things turn out ok with sweet Ilyana's ACL. Post pupdate, it's self-indulgent TV time where we pretty much just ramble on about Twin Peaks Season 3! Don't forget--we're still a podcast!
In this exciting episode of the Sound of Tomorrow, we're kicking it off all smiles! All gigantic American smiles! All a creepy, toothy rictus mean to reassure but terrifying nevertheless.... and it doesn't get less scary as we move into a listicle that reminds Heather much too much of herself! But Ross is cool with it. Agreed--feelings ARE awful! As we also find out about problematic things in part two... or is it problematic itself that's problematic? We'll never know because we're too busy patting ourselves on the back (again)!
Space Cadets, we're back at WAYO LP Rochester for another fun-filled hour! Kicking it off talking cat ladies and carnivore deer, we close out the first half(ish) with a discussion of cis women as drag queens, a discussion which continued through the entire music break until we nearly missed our cues. We didn't, though! But we still had to tell y'all about it! And apologize...... and keep on apologizing because, in part 2, we're talking....... apologies!! We're so sorry.
Music today from the Trachtenburg Family Slideshow Players with "Look at Me."
Oh boy... Space Cadets... Heather's back from her Of Montreal adventure and poor poor Ross cannot handle all the giggling! But it's ok because today on another all new, all true, all blue and here for you Sound of Tomorrow, we're talking the OM show, the super-funness of "Wait, We're Recording, Right?" (https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/id1217128928), how we love to cancel things, the war on nature, and, best of all, science true or false!
Hey, Space Cadets! Heather here! I wasn't around on Wednesday because I was busy shuffling off to Buffalo to see OF MONTREAL (see photo in widget)! The show was fantastic--beyond my wildest dreams. But that meant I left Ross all alone at WAYO where he was kicking it DJ style! Do I know what he played? Only because I saw the track list! But I've heard it was great and I know you're going to love it and I will, too, once I get around to listening! Sorry for the delayed posting but better late than never, right? xoH
Space Cadets, all the caffeine was entirely intentional on this week's Sound of Tomorrow! Tune in to hear all about Heather's War on Men, Ross's bittersweet tale of a funeral-bound road trip (our deepest condolences go out to Ross, Announcer Mike, and all Mike's loved ones who are missing beloved Sister Carlotta), a few religious observations, and some science news! And that's just part one!
