Rewind to the Rhizomes of Rhythms past
Tune in to music I just discovered
whether it was released yesterday
or before you and I were born
An eclectic musical adventure awaits…
It's a beautiful world we live in A sweet romantic place
Baby is grateful for her life She owes the angels for their lullaby
Let the moon drip in Let the rain fall out
Where's the justice and where's the sense?
When all the pain is on my side of the fence
Shaded eyes they are the ones who'll lead you to your deliverance
From the figure of doom Force you to understand
Lock you in a room with a holy roller and a one man band
What kind of woman would make her fortress out of straw
Most of our lives we await your embrace and to know what it's like when we meet face to face Yeah, but nobody searches Nobody cares somehow When the loving that you've wasted Comes raining from a hapless cloud Come a little closer honey, I won't bite ya. One more lager and I might learn to like ya.
It sounds simple
It is not simple
but it is easy...

They've all been trying to frighten me. They've been trying to frighten me into being sensible, but they can't do it. Not now. Not yet. They've got to let me be as foolish as I want to be. I-I want to ride through the crowd. I want to- I want to go buy me a mink coat. And I'll buy you a beautiful present. And Mr. Hedges! I'll buy Mr. Hedges a little house. And it'll have rooms full of white orchids. And they've got to tell me that I'm much more wonderful than anyone else because, Nellie - Nellie, I'm not afraid. I'm not afraid of being just a morning glory. I'm not afraid. I'm not afraid.
I don't know who made this cassette.
I do know it came from Bennington College and was made in the early 1980's.
I grew up in Bennington VT and attended a few parties there around that time so maybe I found it or possibly my brother grabbed it, who knows?
The tape is low quality and in rough shape but has great songs on it!
