Did you know, Red is the first color babies can see? The color "orange" is named after the fruit?  Blue is the world's most popular color?  White is the safest color for a car? Men are more attracted to women who wear red? Or that an orange mug makes hot chocolate taste better and orange walls make a room feel warmer? • New York City Aired: Tuesday, February 19, 2019

New Yorkers bite 10 times more people than sharks do worldwide each year, and that's just one of the many reasons why we love the Big Apple and its more than 8 million inhabitants. Today we dedicate our episode to the history, music and culture of one of the greatest places on earth!

  • Evolution Aired: Tuesday, February 12, 2019

Charles Robert Darwin, was born 210 years ago today so we are dedicating tonight's program to his theory of Evolution.

According to data from Pew Research Center’s Religious Landscape Study, only 33% of all Americans believe in Darwin’s theory of evolution through Natural selection. When compaired to other Industrialized nations, the U.S. ranked next-to-last, out of 34 nations surveyed, in its acceptance of  evolution. We have a long way to go, but it all starts with some good music and loose banter on this very important topic. Enjoy!

  • Aliens Aired: Tuesday, February 5, 2019

According to one poll by gallup, 35 percent of Americans believe in Aliens. UFO's have been sighted by everyone from  John Lennon, to Frank Black of the Pixies, to Elvis, Jimi Hendrix  and  Lemmy Kilmister from Motorhead. Even presidents Carter and Reagan claimed to have seen UFOs  at earlier points in their political careers. On this anniversary of the birthday of "Alien" creator H.R. Giger, we dedicate 1 hour to those little green men--the songs they inspired--and the flying saucers they rode in on!
